It's claimed a K-pop group were not allowed into the US because they had the wrong visas, not because they were thought to be sex workers.
Oh My Girl were held at Los Angeles LAX airport last week and flew back to South Korea.
The eight members were travelling to America for an album cover shoot but were held in customs for 15 hours.
The LA Times spoke to an unnamed customs official who said the group didn't have the correct working visa.
A statement from the group's record company, WM Entertainment, said authorities held them after going through their costumes and props.
The government official claims the group made up their story about being accused of sex workers and the real issue was that their luggage contained performing kit and they were clearly in the United States to work, while claiming they were just tourists.
