On the eve of the official opening of the World Economic Forum in Davos there were warnings about the growing gap between rich and poor. It’s just one issue participants including heads of state and leading businessmen will be focusing upon.
Actor Leonardo DiCaprio has been honoured for charitable works at the World Economic Forum in Davos. Chinese actress Yao Chen was also recognised, and awarded a Crystal Award. DiCaprio was honoured for his work on climate change, but then launched a critical attack on the "corporate greed" of coal, oil and gas companies.
The World Economic Forum's Crystal Award honours artists whose contributions are said to be improving the state of the world.
