介绍:
Habits Habits, whether good or bad ,are gradually formed . When a person does a certain thing again and again , he is driven by some unseen force to do the same thing repeatedly , then a habit is formed . Once a habit is formed , it is difficult, and sometimes impossible, to get rid of . it is therefore very important that we should pay great attention to the formation of habits . Children often form bad habits , some of which remain with them as long as they live . Older persons also form bad habits as long as they live , and sometimes become ruined by them . There are other habits which , when formed in early life , are of great help . Many successful men say that much of their success has something to do with certain habits in early life , such as getting up early , being honest and so on . Among the habits which children should not form is laziness , lying , stealing etc. . These are easily formed habits . Unfortunately older persons often form bad habits which should have been avoided . We should always keep away from all these bad habits , and try to form such habits as will be good for ourselves and others . Notes; whether不论,是否 gradually逐渐地 form形成,养成 certain某一, driven促使,迫使 unseen看不见的 force力量 repeatedly重复地 pay great attention to更多地关注 formation形成,组成 laziness懒惰 avoided避免 unfortunately不幸运地 习惯有好有坏,一旦养成,往往难以改变。习惯对人影响很大,恶习可毁人一生,而好习惯则助人成功。培养习惯,不可不慎。 同学们,希望从今天起我们要养成乐于学习的好习惯。
