今天是圣诞节，主播嘉欣带着2岁的女儿雨点，在西安为你读英国湖畔诗人威廉·华兹华斯的圣诞诗歌《吟游诗人》，这是雨点人生中的第一期节目。

The minstrels played their Christmas tune
吟游诗人哼着他们的圣诞曲调，
tonight beneath my cottage eaves.
今夜，在我的田舍小屋下。
While, smitten by a lofty moon,
此时，高耸的月亮给予他们的灵感。
the encircling laurels, thick with leaves,
层层的月桂树，覆盖着叶子，
gave back a rich and dazzling sheen,
映射着饱满眩目的光泽，
that overpowered their natural green.
早已经超越了他们的原有颜色。
Through hill and valley every breeze had sunk to rest with folded wings:
穿过山谷的每一阵微风下沉收起翅膀：
keen was the air, but could not freeze,
风是那么锋利，但永不冷漠，
nor check, the music of the strings;
也不核对，弦音声声：
so stout and hardy were the band
一层层又如此的强烈刚强，
that scraped the chords with strenuous hand.
用热烈的手摩擦着弦柱。
And who but listened?
但是谁在听？
till was paid respect to every inmate's claim,
这个取决于同住的人的主张，
the greeting given, the music played
给个问候，做个音乐，
in honor of each household name,
为每个家里名字而自豪，
duly pronounced with lusty call,
正式而显著的强有力的呼叫，
and Merry Christmas wished to all.
