Passage 6 stick to your own dreams
As is vividly shown in the cartoon,the mountaineer is climbing up a cliff. Though surrounded with lures, wanrings and the concept of ‘the Majority Rules’ ,he is striving for the summit of his ambitions. Obviously, fighting to stick to our own dream becomes ever important.
Actualy,nothing could confine us except ourselves, which can be seen from the following example. In a circus, the giant elephant obediently stays in a cage that can be eassily destroyed, because it was trained to lose the hpe when it was young since it proved useless tol struggle and fight. So it is the illusion that the cage was unconquerable that made the creature stop fighting. Likewise, we often abandon our dreams and follow others blindly as a consequence of illusions created by others.
To avoed losing ourselves ,we should hold clear our belief that, as long as we set up the goals,we should make for them though obstacles lie ahead. Guard ourselves from being dragged away and bear in mind the advice that is of benefit to us.
