The word is “broke.” [这一次，我们来学习一个大学生和艺术家们使用频率最高的词，那就是broke。] The word “broke” is an adjective and can be used to describe a situation in which you don’t have any money at all, or to emphasize the fact that you don’t have enough money to buy or do something. Broke是一个形容词，常用来形容身无分文、两袖清风，或者是你没有足够的钱去买某样东西做某件事的状态。 So, let’s try to use the word “broke” to make a few sentences! Sentence 1: There was no rain this year， so many farmers went broke.（read twice) [今年基本没怎么下雨，所以很多农民都没钱了。] Sentence 2: I wanted to go watch a movie but I was too broke!
