It will be national day soon and many people will be taking a trip home. I was at the airport this morning seeing a friend off. (See someone off= 送别). I heard a staff member ask a passenger: “One way”? The passenger replied: “No, two way”. The staff member didn’t understand and asked again. I stepped in and explained. While “one way” means 单程票， we cannot say “two way” to mean 往返票. The correct saying would be “round trip ticket” in American English or “return ticket” in British English. Maybe the person thought one way was 一位 and two way was 两位
