A friend told me, “I don’t really need a new phone, but I’m will buy the I10 because all my friends will have it”. What do we call this type of 跟风? We can say “jump on the bandwagon”. Bandwagon means 车队，so when you see everyone in the 车队 walking together, you want to “jump on”. That’s how this phrase came about.
