A turtle with hope🐢

1. When I first heard about her, I immediately knew I had to take herin and do everything I could to give her a fair chance at life. Hope was born with an exposed heart. There’s no shell covering where her heart is. People would say, “She’s just a turtle. Why even bother? She won't survive.” 2. I knew it wouldn't be easy but I was committed to keeping her alive. I started to monitor her weight and size right away, because I wanted to make sure she was growing and thriving. Shewas pretty much the size of a coin when I got her. It was crazy how tiny and fragile she was. 3. She got attached to me very quickly. Since then she's always been so excited to see me. She comes right up to the tank as soonas I walk into the room. I was always so scared and didn't know what to expect. I was constantly worried that one day I would wake up and she would be gone. 4. But instead, she started to get bigger and bigger. Every month she kept putting on weight.
