For anyone who missed yesterday's NBA East vs. West All Star game.. the East out-All-Stared the West. The East snapped their three game losing streak with a 163 to 155 victory.
The West led 155 to 153 lead with two minutes to go, but a three pointer by Irving gave the East their lead.
Blake Griffin finished with 38 points for the West, just four shy of the All-Star record. But he didn't seem too cut up about the loss.
"They started making shots. And we didn't get stops and we went a little bit cold. And once a team gets hot, especially a team with so many good scorers, it's tough to stop them. And then down the stretch we just made a few key mistakes, but it's all good."
Oklahoma's Kevin Durant also racked up 38 points for the west, and Carmelo Anthony's eight threes set a new All-Star record. Kyrie Irving's 31 points and 14 assists were enough to get him voted MVP for the East.
