Phillippe Gilbert wins the Tour of Beijing
The fifth and final stage of the Tour of Beijing concluded today as Belgiam's Phillippe Gilbert from the BMC Racing Team held onto his lead.
Gilbert won the Tour as well as the leader's red jersey.
Garmin-Sharp's Tyler Farrar leapfrogged double stage winner Luka Mezgec on the points classification to win the green jersey as the best sprinter.
The previous stage's white jersey holder Michal Golas from QuickStep was awarded the title "King of the Mountains".
Johan Esteban from Orica Green-Edge won the white jersey for the best young rider. He is also third overall.
The two Chinese cyclists in the peloton Xu Gang and Ji Cheng were ranked 69 and 110 respectively.
Today's race covering 117 kilometers kicked off from Tiananmen Square and the riders raced to the finish line at the Bird's Nest Stadium.
Chinese female body building team prepares for World Championships.
The Chinese female body building team has started preparations for the World Body Building and Fitness Championships to be held in Montreal Canada from Friday to Monday.
The five member Chinese team will take part in the Women's physique and body fitness events.
Spain's Iniesta wins annual Golden Foot awards

Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta beat Cristian Ronalso and Wayne Rooney to win the prestigious Golden Foot award for 2014.
The annual award, presented to the best footballer of the year was held in Monaco on Monday. Iniesta thanked his fans in an emotional speech after the unexpected win.
"It makes me really happy to receive this award, It makes me proud to be the first Spaniard to receive this award, I want to share it with all my team-mates."
Football fans from around the world could vote to pick the top 10 footballers of the year, but the final decision is made by a panel of experts based on the player's performance and personality.

Suarez scores twice in friendly against Oman
Uruguay striker Luis Suarez has scored his first two goals since the World Cup finals and his suspension for biting, in a 3 nil friendly win over Oman.
Suarez is serving a nine-match international ban from competitive games after biting Italy's Giorgio Chiellini, but can play in friendlies.
He scored twice in the ninth minute of the second half, minutes before Jonathan Rodriguez added a third goal.
Suarez is also expected to make his Barcelona debut against Real Madrid later this month.
The striker, who moved to Barcelona from Liverpool for 75 million pounds, or around 120 million US dollars in July, has now scored 43 goals for Uruguay.
But he will not be allowed to play for Uruguay in the Copa America tournament next year and will be banned from playing in competitive games for the national team until the qualification round for the 2018 World Cup.
