Picasso Museum in Paris to reopen
The Picasso museum in Paris is preparing to reopen after 5 years of renovation and expansion.
The renovation was aimed at accommodating more visitors.
Jean-Francois Bodin is the architect for the project.
"What we were looking for is to have enough space for a huge crowd, as we expect to have. Because 700-thousand to 1 million people a year doesn't work with a house, civil house even if it's a huge one, even with a palace as it is here. But we just tried to give a space for the visitors"
The museum will host 400 works by Picasso.
Laurent le Bon is the President of the Picasso Museum
"The essence of this museum is, what we said, the Picasso, from Picasso. Because Picasso collected himself his work during his whole life. And so that's the very important specific thing to this museum. So in this museum you have a complete panorama of the life and the works of Pablo Picasso."
The museum is one of Paris' premier art attractions. It will reopen this Saturday.
