IMF quits Greek talks
The International Monetary Fund has thrown down the guantlet with Greece, walking out of debt negotiations with the country.
The IMF says its delegation has left negotiations in Brussels due to the major differences it continues to have with Athens.
The European Union has also issued a statement, warning Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras to "stop gambling" with his cash-strapped country's future.
Greece needs a new cash injection to avoid default at the end of this month, when a 1.6-billion euro debt payment is due to the IMF.
However, the Greek government has been insisting that debt restructuring has to be included in its new cash injection to ease the payments it has to make to its creditors.
A default at the end of the month could force Greece out of the eurozone.
