Retired British footballer David Beckham has reportedly landed a role in Guy Ritchie's new film "Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur."
The Middle Ages epic began shooting this week.
Film database website imdb.com lists Beckham as playing "Blackleg leader."
Shooting for "Knights of the Roundtable," which stars Charlie Hunnam, Jude Law, Eric Bana and Poppy Delevingne, began this past week.
The 40-year old David Beckham, who is close friends with Guy Ritchie, also has a cameo in the director's new film "The Man From U.N.C.L.E"
Richie's theatrical take on the 60's TV show is set to hit theatres in August.
"Knights of the Round Table: King Arthur" is scheduled for release next summer.
