British designer Stella McCartney has brought her pre-fall collection to the West Coast, with a large batch of celebrities sitting on the front row.
The talented designer gives her reasons for setting the show in Los Angeles.
"It just really felt like the time to have it in LA. You know I've got so many great, dear, close friends here and I spend a lot of time here and it's just, you know, it's such a great place for music, for fashion, for film, for entertainment, for the arts, and it just felt like the right time in the right city."
A-list stars, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Hudson, Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom, and Demi Lovato are among the guests attending the show.
McCartney's pre-fall collection consists of silky dresses, oversized coats and cozy knitwear in playful patterns and animal prints.
During the presentation, the designer also pays her tribute to the late rock legend David Bowie in a unique way.
As the show was held at a record store, models danced on platforms and played arcade games along with Bowie's hits.
McCartney indicates Bowie is a beautiful man that "has impacted everyone".
" When I heard that he had passed away I just felt so lucky to have lived when he was alive, you know? Like I think about my children and if I'm lucky enough to have grandchildren he will be one of the few artists that stands the test of time. They'll know about him, but we were alive when he was on this earth. Such an honor."
Brian Wilson, Pink, Johnny Depp and Marilyn Manson also gave their live performances ahead of the show.
