Top Chinese actor Chen Kun teamed up with Bai Baihe and Qin Hao, to promote their upcoming cuisine-inspired comedy 'Chongqing Hotpot' in Beijing.
At the news conference, the cast thrilled the audience by performing a remake of hit song 'Club Broken Heart.'
And the song's original performer "Grasshopper" surprisingly showed up on the stage to support the film.
Set in mountainous Chongqing, the film centers on three high school classmates, who open a hotpot restaurant in an old bomb shelter.
The story develops as their business turns out to be a glorious failure, and the "gang of four" decides to rob a bank and fix their money problems.
Though this was the first time for veteran actor Chen Kun and rising award-winning actor Qin Hao to work together, the duo said they felt like old friends.
Directed by Chongqing native Yang Qing, the film is set to hit Chinese theater on April 1st.
