The 22-year-old went down to Russia's Daria Kasatkina in straight sets 6-2, 6-1 in her first-round match.
This leaves only Zhang Shuai as the lone Chinese player left at the tournament.
She's into the second round after an easy first-round win over Lesley Kerkhove from the Netherlands.
Next up for Zhang Shuai is Russian Daria Gavrilova.
