Sochi, the host city of the 2014 Olympic Winter Games, is a Russian resort stretching along the sprawling shores of the Black Sea with magnificent peaks looming high above.
The coastal city has a population of 400,000 people and is situated in Krasnodar, the third largest region in Russia.
It is one of the very few places in Russia with a subtropical climate, with warm to hot summers and mild winters.
This is the first Winter Games contested in Russia, and Sochi's unique sun-and-snow climate makes it the first time the Winter Games is being held in a city with palm trees.
Stay tuned to find out more about the "hot, cool and yours" Sochi!
