One year after its public release in 2013, Chinese romance drama film Tiny Times is being criticized again, this time by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles.
This nationwide association of writers and artists recently published a study on Chinese art development in 2013 and in it the association says Tiny Times is morally decadent.
Tiny Times was written and filmed by Chinese novelist and businessman Guo Jingming. It is about the relationship, work and friendship of four girls in the metropolitan city of Shanghai. It received mostly negative reviews from Chinese film critics for its portrayal of an unabashed longing for wealth.
