介绍:
New mothers often have a high standard in choosing animation works for their babies. It needs to be interesting with good values. Its pictures must be eye-friendly. Its music needs to be ear-friendly. To meet all those standards, a French cartoon concert called "Paris Baby Fest" is coming to Beijing and Shanghai to meet Chinese children and their families soon. French photographer Ana Martane is a well-known mother in China, as wife to Liu Ye, a famous Chinese actor. Humming the tunes of "Paris Baby Fest," Ana appears to be very familiar with the French cartoon concert. "I feel excited every time I watched the pictures. Every mother may feel understood by this work. We all dream to become a plane, taking our children to see the world." A combination of music and animation might be children's favorite past-time activity. But worrying about the quality of what their children are watching is an ongoing concern for parents. On the list of Ana's choice, there are Charlie Chaplin's silent films, Disney's animated films, and "Paris Baby Fest." "The pictures are very neat and clean, so that the audience can grasp the plots easily, and they can enjoy the music easily." "Paris Baby Fest," or "Tout-Petit Cinema" in French, was initiated by French Ministry of Education and French Ministry of Culture, and aiming to enlighten children's sense of art. The two-week-long art festival has been held every year in Paris since 2008. 25 productions have toured many cities in France, Britain, Germany and the Middle East. They are composed of animation masterpieces from around the world, from cultural heritage created in the 1950s to new award-winning works. Nine short pieces will form two concerts for Beijing and Shanghai, called "On the Wing" and "Big and Small." These works include award-winning ones from the 2014 Toronto Children's Film Festival and 2014 Berlin Film Festival. Another highlight of the program is the live music accompaniment given by La Founderie, a public art studio based in France. Ana Martane says to see all these musical instruments made the program more interesting to her children. "I'd like to see all these musical instruments playing wonderful music. Along with the animation, it can be a wonderful art enlightenment experience for all young people and grown-ups alike. As a French saying goes, from seven years old to seventy-seven years old." World award-winning animation pieces, well-produced live music accompaniment, interesting story plots all combined together, "Paris Baby Fest" will meet Beijing audiences in Mei Lan Fang Theater from Jan. 19th to 24th, and then visit Shanghai from Jan 31st to Feb.2nd.
