介绍:
Director Guo Jingming, actor Chen Xuedong, actresses Yang Mi, Guo Caijie, Evonne Xie Yilin and Bea Hayden attended the red carpet event of the movie "Tiny Times 4: Soul's End." The writer and director says the series film has changed his life. (sb1, Guo Jingming, male mandarin) "Although my career as a film director just began, I've been doing this for just two years. However, there will be no other film like the 'Tiny Times' series, in which I have invested so much emotion. Many people say movies tell fictional stories, but they have become part of my real life these years." (trailer: Tiny Times 4) The series follows the stories of four fashionable college girls in the glitzy metropolis of Shanghai as they become embroiled in problems with their relationships, work, friendships and social relations. "Soul's End" is expected to be the last of four installments in the Tiny Times series, which is based on a trilogy of books written by Guo himself, who is well-known amongst Chinese youngsters. Leading actor Chen Xuedong plays the role of Chong Guang, who is supposed to be the original of Director Guo Jingming. He says the storyline of the fourth sequel is more dramatic. (sb2, Chen Xuedong, male mandarin) "In the fourth sequel of 'Tiny Times,' the roles played by me and Yang Mi run in to more difficulties than in the previous installments. When in a relationship, it's normal that a girlfriend and a boyfriend have some quarrels, or that are confronted with objections, but when speaking of marriage, pressure from families can be a very huge obstacle." Director Guo Jingming says the franchise has become part of their life. (sb3, Guo Jingming, male mandarin) "At first, we didn't expect that we'd make four movies of the 'Tiny Times' series. We thought it was just a film like any other. We've come so far since then, and today we are finishing the series. We'd like to thank the audience for their support. I'm also happy to see all of them become good friends like in the movies. I feel like these movies became part of our life." (movie trailer) The first of the films, which is also known as "Tiny Times 1.0" was released in June 2013 to a sound commercial success in China's mainland, raising nearly 80 million yuan , which is some 13 million US dollars at the box office. So far, the series has made 1.32 billion yuan, or more than 213 million US dollars altogether. "Tiny Times 4" is out in Chinese cinemas on 9 July. For Studio+, I'm Liu Xiangwei.
