When Jun Togawa struggled to escape from her strict teenage life near Shinjuku, Tokyo, she turned to music and fortunately music saved her back. The booming Japanese New Wave rock scene in the 80s has become a landmark which eventually shaped the future sound for both J-Pop and J-Underground music, even till today.
