谁说爱情一定要大声说出我爱你
Silent Love
From the very beginning, the girl's family objected strongly on her dating. Her boyfriend said that it has something to do with her family background and he hope she wouldn’t have to suffer for the rest of her life if she were to be with him.
Due to family's pressure, the couple had quarreled quite often. And even though the girl loved him deeply, she would always ask him: "How deep is your love for me?"
Her boyfriend was not very good with his words; this often caused the girl to be very upset. And she would often vent her anger on him. As for him, he could only endure her scoldings in silence.
After a couple of years, the guy finally graduated and decided to further his studies overseas. Before leaving, he proposed to the girl: "I'm not very good with words. But all I know is that I love you. If you allow me, I will take care of you for the rest of your life. As for your family, I'll try my best to talk them round. Will you marry me?" The girl agreed, and with her boyfriend’s determination, the family finally gave in and agreed to let them get married. So before he left, they got engaged.
The girl went out to the working society, whereas the guy was overseas, continuing his studies. They sent their love through emails & phone calls. Though it was hard, but both never thought of giving up on each other.
One day, while the girl was on her way to work, she was knocked down by a car that lost control. When she finally awoke in the hospital, she saw her parents beside her bed. She realized that she was badly injured. Seeing her mum crying, she had wanted to comfort her. But she realized that she couldn’t speak. All that came out of her mouth was just silent sighs. She had lost her voice......
The doctor says that the impact on her brain had caused her to lose her voice. Listening to her parents' comforting words, but being unable to reply saddened her, and eventually she broke down.
During her stay in hospital, she had silently cried, knowing she would never speak again. Upon her arrival at home, everything seemed to be the same except for the ringing tone of the phone which pierced into her heart every time it rang. She hadn’t wished her fiancé to know of her accident. She didn’t want to be a burden to him, so she had written a letter to him, saying that she no longer want to see him.
With that, she had returned the ring back to him. In return, the guy had sent millions and millions of replies, as well as making countless of phone calls. All the girl could do, besides crying, was to cry some more....The parents decided to move away, hoping that she could eventually forget everything and once more be happy.
With a new environment, the girl began to learn sign language and started a new life, telling herself every day that she must forget this guy. One day, her friend came to visit and told her that her ex-fiancé was back. She asked her friend not to let him know what happened to her. Since then, there hadn’t been anymore news of him.
A year had passed when her friend came to visit again. She brought with her an envelope, containing an invitation card for her ex-fiancé’s wedding. The girl was shattered. When she opened the invitation, she saw that her name was on it.
When she was about to ask her friend what was going on, she saw her ex-fiancé standing in front of her. He used sign language to tell her: "I've spent a year to learn sign language. Just so I could tell you that I've not forgotten our promise. Let me have the chance to be your voice. I Love You. With that, he slipped the ring back into her finger. The girl finally smiled...
Treat every relationship as if it is the last one, then you will know how to give; treat every moment as if it is the last day, then you will know how to treasure. Treasure what you have right now, or else you may regret one day.
