【Xmas】美国大使和夫人来祝大家圣诞快乐啦（有文稿）

A message from Ambassador Max Baucus and Melodee Hanes Da jia hao, Melodee and I would like to wish you a very warm holiday season. Since we arrived in March, Max and I have travelled all over China: from the streets of Shanghai to the home of Confucius in Qufu, and sites in Beijing, like the Temple of Heaven and the Great Wall, we see a China with a very rich history, a vibrant presence and a very promising future. The United States and China relationship is the most important bilateral relationship in the world. It’s been an amazing year for our family as we moved here and established our new home in Beijing. Our two countries have made great progress this year, from a historic agreement to curb emissions, to extension of visa validities, and the important progress on trade and military relations. This holiday season is a great time to reflect on all the good things, and to celebrate with family and friends. We hope that this year has been a happy and prosperous one for you, your family and all of your loved ones. Merry Christmas and happy New Year!
