虽然“器材”给人的感觉是可数的，中文里一般都说有多少台，但在英文里，equipment就是不可数的。这个没什么理由可讲，只能死记。类似的例子还有software，中文里总是说这个软件那个软件，感觉明明是可数的，但software就是不可数名词。所以，提醒大家，正确的英语表达永远不会出现equipments和softwares。
