that can be used in almost every situation
All my friends who have learned Chinese love this word
and even when speaking English often mix it into their sentences

But how do you say 麻烦 in English?

No one word can replace 麻烦 in every situation
but here are two words that almost do
annoying and bothersome, or bother
Annoying和bothersome是形容词
bother既可以做动词也可以做名词
