In table tennis,
Defending champion Zhang Jike was stunned by his teammate Fang Bo 4-1 in the semifinals at this year's world table tennis championships in Suzhou.
China's rising star Fang Bo will next face world number one Ma Long for the men's singles crown.
It will be Ma Long's first singles title at the world championships should he make it, as he had been stopped at the semifinals three times - in 2009, 2011 and 2013.
In the women's events,
World champion Ding Ning won the women's singles title with a 4-3 victory over teammate Liu Shiwen.
Ding was injured in the final set and had to ask for medical treatment.
But the 24-year-old still fought all the way to final glory.
Ding also advanced to the final in the women's doubles, along with compatriot Li Xiaoxia.
Awaiting them in the final is another Chinese duo, Liu Shiwen and Zhu Yuling.
Mayweather Beat Pacquiao to Remain Perfect Record
In boxing,
Floyd Mayweather cemented his place among the pantheon of boxing greats by improving to 48 wins and no losses with a unanimous decision over Manny Pacquiao on Saturday at the MGM Grand Garden Aerna.
Speaking after the fight, Mayweather says Pacauiao is 'remarkable', but he had what it took to win.
"Manny's (Pacquiao) a remarkable fighter, he's an unbelievable fighter, but I can't just say that he's the toughest fighter that I faced, I can't say he's the hardest puncher that I faced, but I can see why he's where he's at in the sport. As little moves as he tried to make in the fight but to me, having so much experience boxing in so many different styles, I can counter and calculate his moves."
The bout marked Mayweather's 11th consecutive fight at the MGM.
But it was Pacquiao who enjoyed a massive edge in support, even though he was hampered by a shoulder injury.
"I did my best, but my best wasn't good enough. Two weeks before the fight, one week before the fight, my shoulder is getting better and better but not really totally 100 percent. It recovered but at least I can use it, something wrong."
The fight is considered the richest bout in boxing history.
Total revenue was projected to reach 400 million dollars.
Mayweather is guaranteed 120 million and Pacquiao 80 million dollars, although both men could pocket much more depending on the number of Pay Per View purchases.
Clippers Beat Spurs 111-109
In hoops action from the NBA playoffs,
Chris Paul scored with one second left to give the Los Angeles Clippers a wild 111-109 home win over the defending NBA champion San Antonio Spurs in the deciding Game 7 of their first-round playoff series on Saturday.
Blake Griffin added 13 rebounds, 10 assists and 24 points for Los Angeles for his second triple-double of the series.
Clippers star Chris Paul also had 27 points.
Speaking to reporters about how he managed to return to the court after injuring his hamstring in the first quarter, the 29-year-old says he was just doing what he felt was right.
"When I came back Blake (Griffin) just kept asking me if I was alright. I thought about our team and all the things we've been through, and I know that if it was any other guy on our team in a situation like this they wouldn't have laid down. So I just tried to find a way."
The Clippers move on to play against the Houston Rockets in the Western Conference semi-finals starting on Monday in Houston.
NBA Won't Suspend Mike Dunleavy

Chicago Bulls forward Mike Dunleavy has avoided a suspension for making contact with Bucks guard Michael Carter-Williams' jaw and neck during Game 6 of the Eastern Conference quarter finals.
He is now available for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semi finals between the Bulls and the Cavaliers on Monday in Cleveland.

Chinese Divers Add Two More Golds in London

Chinese divers add two more golds on Saturday at the FINA World Diving Series in London.
China's Shi Tingmao took her second gold medal at the event, winning the women's individual 3-meter springboard final with a total score of 374.35 points.
Shi's teammate Wang Han finished second.
The 23-year-old also took the 3-meter synchro springboard on Friday with compatriot Wu Minxia.
In the mixed 3-meter synchro springboard, China's Wang Han and Yang Hao won gold with a score of 336.90 points.
China has won six of the seven titles so far after two days of competition.
China's dominance was broken by Evgeny Kuznetsov of Russia.
The 25-year-old took the men's 3-meter springboard final.
It was the first gold medal of the London event to go to a diver outside China.
China's Deng Yalan Wins Gold at World Challenge Cup
In gymnastics,
China's Deng Yalan won gold in the women's vault at the gymnastics World Challenge Cup in Sao Paulo on Saturday.
The 16-year-old claimed the title with an average score of 14.962 points from her two jumps.
Brazil's Rebeca Andrade took silver and Chile's Franchesca Santi finished third.
On the men's side,
Brazil's Angelo Assumpcao won gold in the men's vault with a mean score of 15.025 points.
China's Xi Huang was fifth.
In the men's parallel bars,
Germany's Lukas Dauser took gold with a 15.750 points average.
China's Xiaodong Zhu clinched silver.
Lee Hyun Il of Korea Claimed the Title at Skycity New Zealand Open
In badminton,
35-year-old Lee Hyun Il of Korea took the men's single title on Sunday after beating China's young gun Qiao Bin in two sets 21-12, 21-14 in the Skycity New Zealand Open at the North Shore Events Center.
And Saena Kawakami of Japan won her first senior title in the women's singles after beating China's He Bingjiao in two sets 21-16, 21-18.
Powerhouse China took the remaining titles in the women's doubles, men's doubles and mixed doubles.
