The famous TCL Chinese Theater celebrated its 88th birthday Wednesday with a hand a footprint ceremony for 'Fast and Furious' director Justin Lin and actors Huang Xiaoming and Zhao Wei.
Zhao Wei said she was honored to be the first Chinese actress to leave her handprints outside the theater.
"I'm very proud to be the first ever Chinese actress to leave my handprint and footprint here and I hope that in the future I'll be able to come back every year and look at my own hand and footprints. Of course I will also take pictures alongside the handprints of Justin Lin and Huang Xiaoming."
Both Zhao Wei and Huang Xiaoming have been working with Justin Lin on his next project, a mandarin language film called 'Hollywood Adventures'. Huang Xiaoming says he has enjoyed working in America on the project.
"I just want to say that the last two months, being able to make 'Hollywood Adventures' here in America, it's been a great experience for me. Just the fact that there is so much alliance between the Chinese film industry and the American film industry. "
"Hollywood Adventures" opens in China on June 26.
